Resistance for sprint training in canoeing, which consists of three balls sitting on a rubber band. The resistance can be dosed by choosing between one to three balls. You place the strap directly in front of the cockpit to be able to reach the balls during training. For warming up, the balls can sit on the deck. For sprint training, you then pull down the balls you need as resistance. After the last interval, you can unbutton the strap to run a final sprint without resistance (good for maintaining speed) or just to cool down.
