The PaddleMate Kayak Sensor Kit is a revolutionary piece of equipment that will take your paddling to a new level, whether you are a beginner or an experienced paddler. The kit offers a basic set of features at no extra cost. These include the measurement of power (Newton), time (hh:mm:ss), distance (km), speed (km/h), pace (min/km), rate (strokes/min), distance per stroke (meters/stroke), heart rate (BPM) and calorie consumption (kCal), all accessible via the PaddleMate mobile app. Also included is access to PaddleMate Web analytics, which allows for a basic overview and analysis of your paddling.

For those who want to explore more advanced features, there is the PaddleMate Pro subscription. This subscription extends your capabilities with access to Coach-Athlete relationship, Pulling Force Curves (for analysis of each tag's force curves and pulling motion), live data directly from the water (requires phone or tracker), and team boat synchronization to display multiple athletes' data in a single graph. These features are particularly useful for serious paddlers and coaches who want to deepen their understanding and improve performance.

The kayak version comes with two pods to read the power on both sides.

The SUP/Dragon/C1 version has one pod.

Garmin compatibility is coming in spring 2024.

You need to have your phone with you during the paddle to save measurements. You do not need to have your phone available for use while paddling.

General cleaning is recommended after each training session, depending on where the product is used. If the product is used in salt water, it is recommended to wash it with running water or tap water at the end of the training session and dry it with a towel.

You can freely move the POD to another BASE, so if you have multiple paddles equipped with a BASE, you have the flexibility to use them with the same POD. The BASE stores the blade-specific parameters. You can use it with a maximum of two paddles.

Yes, you can connect any chest strap that can also be connected to your phone (i.e. Bluetooth compatible).

Outside the EU

We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. This includes European countries, as Norway, Switzerland and UK. If you want to order goods from Norway, you can choose delivery to a Poste Restante Address at a post office in Sweden.

Refund policy

If you want to return an item, please use our online returns portal. With us, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. The item must be in new condition. New condition means that the item is unused and undamaged. Please also return the accompanying packaging & labels. You can choose between:

- refund (or crediting of the invoice)
- conversion to a gift card
- exchange of the product

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are customized for a specific customer (e.g. canoe orders where the canoe is produced according to the customer's specifications). However, the right of withdrawal applies to products that we customize for the customer but where variants can be selected in the online store (eg assembly of wing paddles). We offer free return shipping within Sweden.

For return shipments, we currently charge a freight fee of €8 for shipments up to parcel size. In the case of special goods (items that cannot be sent as a parcel) and company orders, the customer bears the costs for the return shipment.
