Spare parts such as the drive rope, tensioner rope, carabiner, foot strap and paddle shaft are normally stocked in Bengtsfors – the current stock status is shown on each product page. All other spare parts we order for you, and Old Danube ships them directly.

Old Danube builds kayak and canoe ergometers in Hungary – by paddlers, for paddlers. The goal: get as close as possible to the feel of paddling on water. Air resistance from a large flywheel, a Nelo-compatible seat and footrest, and a carbon shaft that adjusts without tools. The machine splits into two sections and stores upright – as practical at home as in the club room.
At Dietz you will find the Old Danube kayak ergometer and its spare parts: drive rope, tensioner rope, carabiners, foot strap and paddle shaft are normally stocked, and we order all other parts for you. Our demo machine is in Bengtsfors, Sweden – get in touch if you would like to try it before deciding.
*This applies if the goods are suitable to ship with DHL. Currently it applies to PE-surfskis and paddle machines. Composite canoes are delivered by ourselves. Here the shipping price of 600 kr applies for Southern Sweden (with Falun and Gävle as the border). Shipping to central and northern Sweden must be agreed with us before ordering.
We currently do not deliver outside the EU. If you want to order goods from Norway, you can choose delivery to a Poste Restante address at a post office in Sweden.
Please use our online portal for returns if you want to return an item. With us, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. The item must be in new condition. New condition means that the item is unused and undamaged. Please also return the accompanying packaging & labels. You can choose between:
- refund (or credit on the invoice)
- conversion into a gift card
- change of product
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are customized for a particular customer (eg canoe orders where the canoe is produced according to the customer's specifications). However, the right of withdrawal applies to products that we customize for the customer but where variants can be selected in the online store (eg mounting of wing paddles). We offer free return shipping for non-bulky packages within Sweden. For bulky goods and for orders to companies, the customer is responsible for the return shipping.
