Nelos canoes are built in vacuum manufacturing, which improves stiffness & durability. Material classes WWR, F, G & SCS weigh about the same. E is a marathon design with lower weight.
Single-coloured canoes or colour combinations with stripes can be made in the Nelo colour configurator. Save the image and upload it in the order form (below).
For SCS canoes you can get your own design. Keep in mind that advanced designs are made in lacquer instead of gelcoat, which makes the surface more sensitive to impacts and scratches. You can get a design from Paddlesports Design or make your own drawing in vector format.
We need to provide a completed design in vector format when ordering your canoe. We recommend that you order the design from Paddlesports Design. If you find it cumbersome, we can fix it for you. Just upload a drawing when ordering. We only calculate the amount that Paddlesports Design charges us.
Canoes and surfskis that you configure yourself here in the online store will be ordered home according to the choices you make when ordering.
We only stock canoes, surfskis and paddleboards shown under > boats in stock in case you want immediate delivery.
In the configurator you can see all the choices that are possible for the selected canoe and material class.
For example, the option 'own design' is only available when you select material class SCS or E.
If you are unsure about the choice of loose components such as seats, foot straps, etc., we can replace them in connection with delivery and also after delivery.
What we cannot change after the canoe has gone into production is:
Use the order form on this page to place your canoe order or email the details to us. We inform you that canoe orders are not covered by the right of withdrawal because the product is customized (eg color selection). Your order only becomes binding when you have received an order confirmation from us and you confirm that the order is correct. We then place the order with Nelo. 10% of the order total is paid 10 days after you receive the order confirmation, the rest on delivery. If the invoice is to go to a canoe club (i.e. if the order is for club material), we will invoice the full amount on delivery.
The production of the canoe takes place in Nelo's factory in Portugal and normally takes 5 - 6 weeks*. There is an additional delivery time of about 1 - 2 weeks, which means that we receive the canoe 6 - 8 weeks after ordering. We can deliver the canoe to your home for a shipping cost of SEK 600**. It is very unusual that deliveries take longer than what is stated here. However, we give no guarantee that delays will not occur.
*Christmas and factory vacation (3 weeks in August) can extend the production time.

Nelo provides a two-year warranty on material & manufacturing defects for canoes. Designs done as painting* are not covered by the warranty. Nelo is the market leader in material & manufacturing quality of racingcanoes. The production is largely handmade. Minor deviations in the desired design and small cosmetic errors** do not give the right to a price reduction or return.

*This applies if the goods are suitable to ship with DHL. Currently it applies to PE-surfskis and paddle machines. Composite canoes are delivered by ourselves. Here the shipping price of 600 kr applies for Southern Sweden (with Falun and Gävle as the border). Shipping to central and northern Sweden must be agreed with us before ordering.
We currently do not deliver outside the EU. If you want to order goods from Norway, you can choose delivery to a Poste Restante address at a post office in Sweden.
Please use our online portal for returns if you want to return an item. With us, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. The item must be in new condition. New condition means that the item is unused and undamaged. Please also return the accompanying packaging & labels. You can choose between:
- refund (or credit on the invoice)
- conversion into a gift card
- change of product
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are customized for a particular customer (eg canoe orders where the canoe is produced according to the customer's specifications). However, the right of withdrawal applies to products that we customize for the customer but where variants can be selected in the online store (eg mounting of wing paddles). We offer free return shipping for non-bulky packages within Sweden. For bulky goods and for orders to companies, the customer is responsible for the return shipping.
